Candles for Baptisms, Weddings, Slava’s and gravesides can be purchased at the church candle counter along with other religious supplies. You may also prepay a candle for the Health or In Memory of a loved one for $20 that will be placed on the altar.

The Greater Food Depository is part of a united community effort working to bring food, dignity and hope to those in need. They act as the hub for a network of more than 700 food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. Their programs address the specific needs of diverse groups,
including children, older adults and veterans.
We are pleased to announce that our church will once again sponsor a food drive from December 27, 2020 – January 24, 2021
Please bring non-perishable food items and place them in the basket located at the entrance of our church
Last year we were able to collect 329 lbs. (149.23 kg) of food which provided 274 meals for those in need.

Tentative Schedule for Choir Practice
Calendar Subject to Change with Notification / Choir Practice
The schedule was created, with all due respect, for EVERYONE’s health and well-being. Please remember while it still is not completely understood how easily or not someone can develop and spread COVID19, we need to do our best in being careful. If you are in a high-risk group please take extra precautions. We will continue to encourage all of us to maintain the recommended physical distance. While it is challenging to wear a mask while singing, no one should ever feel embarrassed about wearing a face mask during choir practice or in church. If you feel sick, please stay home until you are better. Be careful when you are around those who are most vulnerable since it can be very serious. We will do our best to follow the recommendations/guidance in accordance with the City of Chicago.
We all need to stay healthy and safe!
