We would like to share that earlier this year a committee was formed to reestablish the student scholarship award in order to support, promote and encourage higher educational pursuits and goals of our high school students at OHR.

One member from our church’s Sunday school, choir (SSM), Circle of Serbian Sisters (KSS) and the folklore group SOKO united together to provide funds for a monetary award in the amount of $1,000.00. Also, the newly formed committee renamed the scholarship to reflect the unity within our church to the OHR Serbian Orthodox Student Scholarship.  

We are pleased to announce that Marija Milisav received the award during this year’s Sunday School Graduation – June 2, 2019 by Slobodan Aleksov who also won the award many years ago. Congratulations to both of them for their accomplishments and we look forward in continuing this wonderful opportunity in the years to come.
